Breeders of Fine Bashkir Curly Horses

The Curly Horse is a hearty horse of medium size ranging at about 15hh, with very dense bones in the leg and strong round hooves.  They are most noted for their "curly" coats.  Ranging from actual ringlets of several inches to a crushed velvet of soft dense curls all over the body.

These even tempered horses have been described by trainers as "one in a million" to work with.  Curly Horses  are known for being versatile, hardy & gentle horses.  They are actively used in most standard disciplines of horsemanship, from English Dressage to Western Reining, Trail Riding & Driving.

The Curly Horse is a rare and unique breed with as few a 300 registered in Canada in 2000.  If you would like to meet these fine horses, we would love to introduce you.
